What differentiates Mimecast Email Security & Resilience from other similar products?

The cost to value ratio for the platform and the fit with our medium sized environment are the biggest differences from other vendor offerings we researched and demoed.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The flexibility and options we have within the administrative side and also what we can offer our end users in terms of managing their own email options. Makes a big difference to have a simple feature such as allowing users to release their own caught messages after they've been scanned and verified clean.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Lack of AI features that will improve phishing and social engineering email attacks.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Do you research on other platforms and make sure to not only demo each but actually run a trial if you can. Testing it and seeing how it works within confines of your environment and needs will make a world of difference.

What differentiates Mimecast Email Security & Resilience from other similar products?

They are the leading forfront alongside with Microsoft, i do feel that they have many features that take away the tedious task, and have looked at other email securities and mimecast is years ahead

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

the ease of use, being able to adjust any little detail to tailor it, and able to research emails, block emails, and have front facing notifications to users

What do you dislike most about this product?

some products that do not work, and have tried multiple times with support to help, but no avail

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

This is a great product, and their sales always works with you on best pricing.

What differentiates Mimecast Email Security & Resilience from other similar products?

Mimecast Email Security Gateway provides many security features like DNS filtering, Impersonation protection, Stationery feature etc. also support all platform like on-prem exchange, O365, GSuit etc.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Impersonation Protection and HTML Signature Stamping.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Nothing to dislike in mimecast email security gateway.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Mimecast email security gateway is the only product with lots of security.
