What differentiates Webroot Business Endpoint Protection from other similar products?
The digital armor defending us and our company from damaging, multi-layered cyberattacks is Webroot Business Endpoint Protection. With real-time threat intelligence at its core, Webroot Business Endpoint Protection shields organizations from threats in a variety of areas, including email, web browsing, files, URLs, malicious advertisements, apps, and more.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I still use the program at home and advise everyone to add Webroot to their list of potential providers to consider. Do not be influenced by technology. Before discounting Webroot as a solution, test it out just to make sure it works the way you expect it to. It offers a central location for notice and action from administrators.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Webroot presented us with two problems. Although complex, their technology is outstanding. Although we were never able to fully understand how their technology differed from other antivirus programs, it did operate and was pretty effective. The cost of Webroot was another issue.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Because of the size of our deployment, a Webroot Engineer helped us set up the various rules for workstations, servers, and remote desktop servers during our initial installation. It was essential to ensure that we were protected and that Webroot did not have any negative performance effects, especially on our servers, by knowing the settings in the policies and having someone advise us to make the proper decisions.
Pros
- Helps Innovate
- Continually Improving Product
- Performance Enhancing
- Enables Productivity

A practical, simple antivirus.

What differentiates Webroot Business Endpoint Protection from other similar products?
I adore that this is entirely handled and hosted in the cloud. Just set it up and go; there is nothing to support or troubleshoot. It enables us to manage organizational deployment and fundamental scans from that point. It is simple to set up through the portal if we need to change any parameters or allow the listing of applications or paths.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Using a web interface, the software is simple to configure. This is friendlier and simpler to use than other providers requiring numerous servers to monitor endpoints and perform scanner offloading. There are no annoying pop-ups urging you to run scans. Each user is handled in groups with group policies specified within our management interface, and the client is deployed through the web panel.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Further reports or warnings on clean scans and what was scanned. The admin centre occasionally keeps uninstalled PCs around. No reports of offline or disconnected devices from the database exist. When you deactivate an endpoint, it remains in your account and is added to a group called "deactivated endpoints," which can be perplexing if you're new to Webroot.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
It provides clear descriptions of what each function performs and how it operates. A non-technical person like myself can understand the explanation of how its firewall function controls connections to your machines, for example. I appreciate that it only displays pop-up messages when something requires attention and runs in the background, seemingly unaffected by my computer.
